ICC WORLD CUP FINAL 2023

ICC WORLD CUP FINAL 2023 at Ahmedabad

Final

Australia have won the toss and ask India to bat first. Both are playing with the same team.

There will be highest ever online and offline viewership. This is biggest stadium of the world with a capacity of over 130 thousands. Apart from that a worldwide above 10 crore online viewership is expected today.

After 15 overs India 97/3. Shubhman out for only 4 runs and Rohit Sharma who was in the same mood of publishing Australian bowlers was gone for 47 caught beautifully by Head on Maxwell. Shreyas was out for just 4 runs caught behind of Patt Cummins.

In 29th over Virat Kohali who was trying to build partnership with Rahul and has already completed his fifty was unfortunate to played on of the Pat Cummins and India 148/4 after 28.3 overs.

Middle order couldn’t perform as expected but there was two important factor. The first factor was the pitch which was very slow and another was excellent captaincy of Pat Cummins, who has deployed bowlers very well and field placing was exceptionally well.

After first power play and after Skipper Rohit Sharma’s wicket, Indian batsmen went into shell. Boundaries were thing of luxury, even scoring 2 runs on a ball was rare thing.

Anyway, first time India got all out in 50 overs. India could manage a defendable score of 240 though a bit short of 35-40 runs. 275-280 would have been a bit comfortable score. Now bowlers have to do their job and if they could match their earlier performance of the present tournament. ये कप हमारा ही होगा

The first power play was the only zone, in which India has outplayed Australia, in both the Batting & bowling. In batting power play Rohit Sharma has dominated with bat and in bowling power play Bumrah and Shami has took 3/47. Otherwise, in every moment of the match Australia has full domination and showed the world, why they are champions.

Congratulations to team Australia for winning the ICC WORLD CUP 2023.

Well played team India, except the Final.
