After that, a century-long partnership was developed between Steven Smith and David Warner. They have added 132 runs for the second wicket on 118 balls. Steven Smith has completed his half century, and after making beautiful and important 71 runs, he became the victim of Aryan Dutt. He has scored 71 runs on 68 balls, and on his departure, Australia was 160/2 in 23.3 overs.

For the third wicket, David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne have added 84 runs on 76 balls. David Warner has completed his sixth century of the World Cup on 91 balls. Josh Inglis could not capitalize on the inning and was gone cheaply at 14 runs. Australia was 266/4 after 39 overs, with a good run rate of 6.8 runs per over. On the very next ball, David Warner was out for 104 runs when he went for a big shot but could not clear the fine-leg boundary, and Aryan Dutt took the catch on Van Beek’s ball. David Warner’s 104 runs came on 93 balls, which included 11 boundaries and three huge sixes.

ameron Green and Pat Cummins were just spectators on the non-striker end, when Glenn Maxwell was punishing each and every ball bowled by Netherland bowlers. Maxwell has completed his fifty on 27 balls. Maxwell magic was on in the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Maxwell has scored the fastest 100 of the World Cup and only the 4th fastest 100 of ODIs on just 40 balls. In this process, he has sent the ball equal times through the fence and over the fence (8 boundaries and 8 sixes). Maxwell has scored 106 runs on 44 balls and was caught by Sybrand on Van Beek’s ball. His fifty-first century journey was completed on just 14 balls.

Either it was Maxwell magic or Maxwell madness. Score Board was suddenly shot up as a mercury thermometer in high fever. Finally, Australia has posted a huge 399 runs on the scoreboard and set a target of 400 for the Netherlands.
