Sunny Deol Finally Breaks His Silence On Auction Notice Of His Mumbai House
Bollywood actor Sunny Deol declined to comment, saying that he did not want to comment on personal matters.
One of the leading Nationalise Bank had issued a notice to auction the property owned by Mr Sunny Deol, a BJP Member of Parliament, to recover Rs 56 crore.
“I do not want to comment. These are personal matters. If I say anything, people will misinterpret it,” Deol said.
Meanwhile, Bank of Baroda has cited two major “technical” reasons for withdrawing the auction notice.
- The total dues did not specify the exact quantum of dues to be recovered.
- The sale notice was based on a symbolic possession of the property, and the bank has not yet taken physical possession of the property.
The Bank Spokesperson said that it will initiate sale action once it takes physical possession of the property.
The bank also said that Mr Deol has approached the lender to settle the dues.
The spokesperson added that the sale notice was withdrawn as per the normal industry practice followed in other cases as well.
